Born in small town Newfoundland Scott developed a love for the natural world at a young age. His love for photography emerged in 2003 and he combined it with some of his favourite subjects like birds, wildlife and landscape to produce a passion for nature photography.

Scott’s style is mainly photo journalistic, as he prefers to capture events as they unfold, but he also loves the challenges found in setups and off-camera lighting. A lover of all things photography, Scott enjoys working in different photographic mediums including digital, 35mm, medium format and instant film. He is also currently one of Fujifilm's Canadian 'X-Photographers'.
